"I've Lost My Mind"

Recently I've been working with a new musician on a project called Normality? which is slowly coming along....though I'm having alot of trouble guitar wise as I'm still so new to this style of guitar and I've never played in D tuning before so its all abit :-S and I can't seem to get the grip of it well but I'm sure I'll get the hand of it. Hopefully we will record an EP with the next few months which will most likely be a download only release as CD duplication is quite expensive (for Digipak this is, maybe we can look into standard Jewel Case....or maybe DVD cases as they are very popular for unsigned bands so I'm guessing its abit cheaper too haha). Depending I think we might do a few shows aswell, but thats the future and hopefully it'll be a show you won't forget so easily :-D.

Also I've been doing a college essay that I can't get around :-S I've managed to get to 1006 words out of the 1500 word minimumbut its not looking good as its very apparent I have no idea what I'm talking about...then thats exactly how it is and it has to be in tomorrow...and its also my birthday tomorrow :-D. Also my friend is coming down Friday which will be amazing and on Saturday we will be going to Thorpe Park....my 2 greatest things in life in 1 day (my best friend and theme parks...thats what keeps me living along with music haha).

What a way to start a blog than quoting my favourite Velvet Eden Song :-D. Its just a beautiful song, the lyrics are amazing (then I've not heard any lyrics by DaDa that haven't been good hehe). Not everyone's cup of tea but its nice to check bands out.

So today I travelled 12 miles for a bottle of Tropical Juice, that costs 48p!!! pointless? yes, was it worth it? most certainly hehe. Then I travelled back to my own little city and bought some Fudge from Pilgrim's Fudge and Chocolate...Chocolate and Mint swirl, really nice, very minty hehe. Fantastic shop and the people who work there are so friendly, then so is the Pilgrims shop on the other sider which sells (as my friend put it) "Witch-y" things.

Today also brings news on a musical front too, I've decided to not participate in the Dark Abyss 5 year reunion and as far as I am aware C.K. has no interest himself in continuing the project so Dark Abyss is and most likely forever will be in eternal sleep. Also Ruined Kingdom is currently in a writing process, though the music process is going slow as I'm still not 100% sure on what I want from R.K. but the EP will still be released sometime in early-to-mid 2010.

Recently I've been learning the Guitar parts to Buodicca's....well I forgot the name of the song (strange never done that before haha) pretty sure it had sky in its name, anyway. Currently learning it has gone really well so hopefully the band will get together again soon for another rehearsal as we haven't really had one in a very long time and we have alot to rehearse together, hopefully rehearsals will happen soon :-).

Also Pilgrims Fudge and Chocolate is moving!!!! I was really shocked when I heard about this as they've always been down that little walk bit for as long as I remember...I think they may have been there for about 15 years. Luckily they're moving to somewhere else in Gloucester town and not somewhere else like what happened to MoonStones :-(.

My First Blog

Well this is my first blog so if anyone is actually reading this...hi :-). So alittle bit about me to start off this blog.

I go under the name Jareth, I am the guitarist of Buodicca and Ruined Kingdom, I am a big Schwarz Stein fan (hence the name New Vogue Child hehe), I am Kaya obsessed haha. The things that mean the most to me in my life are:
